Social Correspondence Chess Association

SCCA Teams

Apart from playing in various leagues, we also arrange friendly matches with other correspondence chess clubs. Our team secretary is always pleased to hear from members who are willing to play in any of our teams. We are also always pleased to hear from potential reserves who may replace players forced to to drop out at an early stage.

British Correspondence Chess Team Championship
Started in the season 2005-2006 to take the place of the BPCTC and the BFCC Club Championship. The bottom team each year is replaced by a nominee from the BCCL. Each member of a team plays 2 games against the equivalent member of another team, organised so that each team member plays a member of a different team.

British Correspondence Chess League
The British Correspondence Chess League is run by the British Correspondence Chess Association, it comprises 4 divisions - Championship, Premier, 1st and 2nd - these provide opportunities for all players.

Scottish League
The Scottish league is organised by the Scottish Correspondence Chess Association. This is for teams of 5 players each playing two games against one opponent, and is obviously not restricted to Scottish teams.

Friendly Matches We also play representative friendly matched versus other C.C. organisations, please contact the team captain if you wish to play or challenge SCCA.
